| Capable
(5.15MB)- This was the final project for
the class. Words were written by a friend of mine, Matt
Cobble. Also, a thanks goes out to Tom Stolarik and Bruce
Moser, with their awesome help on the guitar, you guys
added some awesome texture to my piece and made it live
(while praisin' God the whole time). Rock on! <>< |
| Unsaid
(6.83MB)- This is a song written by Delana
Bailey, and was completed by her, Me, and Craig Stewart.
This was recorded in a single 15 hour (from 1:30pm to
5:30am) session near the beginning of June 2002. We went
from partially written words to Master during that time.
It was played on the radio the next night at a small radio
station in Tampa. During this project, I realized how
much harmony vocals can add when only in smaller ammounts.
I feel the master made the shaker a bit loud. t'was fun
(and tiring). |
| Kingdom
Kontributors (6.45MB)- This was a fun
little tune created by myself and Josh Dahm. This was
created for a presentation in a class known as "Kingdom,
Church, and World." We tell a story of our exploits
in public service with different aspects of Habitat for
Humanity. I play the keyboard, Trumpet, and sing, while
Josh adds in background vocals, Saxophone, and also does
some keyboard work. The tune was an original of Josh's.
It was recorded, mixed, and mastered on my own computer
using Logic, which was used for the many other tunes on
this list. Created in the fall of 2003. |
| The
Joy of Grace (4.68MB)- This was the
mid-term project for the class. It was inspired by the
realization of God's un-swaying grace. The words were
pulled from Shakespeare's 18th love sonnet (recorded originally
for one of Matt's video projects) recorded with the voice
of Casey Smith. |
| No
Motive (1.66MB)- This was a fun song
where I used sound samples for a monologue session I recorded
for one of Matt's videos. |
| Waterjug
Jig (1.013MB)- This was entirely from
recorded samples of those water jugs that go "glub"
when you get water from it. |
| Happy
Handfart (691KB)- Yes, I just had to
do it at least once. This song features the unique instrument
taught to me by Kurt Schulte (hope I spelled his name
right). This is just a fun song. |

| The
Bruce Renditions: These songs were recorded
for Niky, a close friend of Bruce. |
|
|
More
Than Words (5.73MB)- This piece,
by Extreme, is the most complex of the three songs.
Bruce sung harmony with himself and played the guitar.
Jarred Jennings was at the shaker. This would have
to be one of the crispest recordings I've done as
of yet. |

Arms
of An Angel (5.34MB)- This Sarah
Mclachlan tune was a simple run of MIDI recorded
piano and vocals, recorded simultaneously. |
|
|
Love
of My Life (5.12MB)- Another
simple run of MIDI recorded piano and vocals, recorded
simultaneously. This one was written by Jim Brickman. |
